CHARX connect vehicle charging inlets

With the integrated temperature sensor technology on the power contacts and communication of the measured data to the vehicle, it is possible to reliably prevent overheating during charging with high charging currents. The high-precision sensors enable rapid, exact temperature evaluation at the DC contacts, which is the basis for dynamic regulation of the DC charging current requested via the vehicle.

The optimized connection technology between the DC power contacts and high-voltage cables also minimizes heating of the system.

High Power Charging charging station with charging power of up to 500 kW

Vehicle-side use of High Power Charging (HPC) technology for ultra fast electric vehicle charging is possible for all electric vehicle types – from sports cars to bulldozers.

With cable cross-sections of up to 95 mm², our CCS charging inlets enable electric vehicles to be charged continuously with 250 kW and even temporarily with charging powers of up to 500 kW.

With the use of an optimized sealing system, the charging inlets achieve a comprehensive degree of protection of up to IP67, and, in addition, IP6K6K/IP6K9K the front area. The charging inlet is protected against moisture and dirt even when the charging flap is open and the charging connector is not plugged in.

The vehicle charging inlets have been developed in accordance with the IATF 16949 automotive standard and conform to the respective IEC 62196, SAE J1772, and GB/T 20234 standards.

The relevant external dimensions and screw-connection geometries of the CCS charging inlets and AC charging inlets are identical to each other. This enables you to plan the same installation space for each electric vehicle regardless of the target market – from buses to motorbikes.

Universal charging inlets for all electric vehicle types From electric cars to electric utility vehicles

Our CHARX connect CCS charging inlets were developed for leading automotive industry manufacturers in accordance with the IATF 16949 automotive standard and conform to the respective IEC 62196, SAE J1772, GB/T 20234 standards. The goal was to achieve vehicle-side charging with higher charging currents to reduce charging time and therefore increase suitability for everyday use.

The new generation of CCS type 1 and CCS type 2 vehicle charging inlets enable electric vehicles to be continuously charged with 250 kW and temporarily, even up to 500 kW. The high-precision temperature sensor technology prevents overheating due to the high charging currents. The new GB/T DC charging inlets and the type 1, type 2, and GB/T AC charging inlets round out the portfolio.
