Testing instead of discussing: Phoenix Contact to host the CharIN Testival & Conference Europe 2026
The All Electric Society Park in Blomberg, Germany, will be the meeting place for the international e-mobility and energy industry from September 22 to September 25, 2026: Phoenix Contact will be hosting the CharIN Testival & Conference Europe 2026 – a key event for the whole of Europe regarding interoperable charging infrastructure and integrated energy systems.
Aimed at driving forward the further development of charging infrastructure and the integration of renewable energies, the company is working with the CharIN industry initiative to bring together manufacturers, operators, energy experts, and technology partners. In particular, the focus will be on the practical implementation of interoperability, intelligent charging solutions, and the interlinking of mobility and energy. The four-day event format combines practical testing with professional exchange: The Testival will provide companies with the opportunity to test and validate vehicles and charging infrastructure under real conditions. Following the principle of “testing instead of discussing”, participants will be able to test and further develop their systems directly on site.
The first step is a one-day specialist conference at the decision-making level. Under the main theme of “bridging the gap between vision and reality – from e-mobility to energy”, central issues of the energy transition will be highlighted – from intelligent charging infrastructure and grid integration through to storage solutions, smart grids, and regulatory framework conditions.
The program will be complemented by an open event day providing insights into the All Electric Society Park. Guided tours and keynote speeches will give a practical insight into how technologies and solutions interact along the entire energy chain, from grid connection and energy storage through to energy management systems and cross-sector applications.
“With the CharIN Testival & Conference, we are creating a platform where theory and practice come together directly. Interoperable solutions for the mobility and energy transition can only be further accelerated through close cooperation and real-life test scenarios”, states the event’s objective.
By hosting the event, Phoenix Contact is underlining its commitment to actively shaping the All Electric Society – a world in which energy from renewable sources is efficient, networked, and both available and affordable for everyone. At the same time, the event will provide an international platform for exchange, partnerships, and concrete solutions along the entire e-mobility value chain.
