Background:
With NIS 2, the EU has introduced strict cybersecurity rules for its member states. NIS 2 is the successor to the NIS Directive, which came into force in 2016. The implementation of a holistic security strategy is therefore no longer only necessary to protect against cyber attacks, but is also required by law. The requirements also apply to those who work as subcontractors in the relevant market segments.
EU Member States must implement the provisions necessary to comply with the NIS 2 Directive by October 17, 2024, and apply these provisions as of October 18, 2024.
At Phoenix Contact, we have been actively working with Industrial Cyber Security and OT networks for many years and have now gathered our internal CyberSecurity experts as well as two experts from our partner AFRY to go through the requirements set by the NIS2 directive in an educational and easy-to-understand way. In addition, we will try to put our finger on why NIS 2 is good for us all!
This webinar is aimed at both those who work with OT networks and automation solutions and those who are in the management team.
