Fault reporting system infobox

Compact fault reporting system for reliable system operation

Fault reporting systems provide you with the necessary overview of the current status of your system. They provide information that ensures the system is safely controlled in all operating and error states. Thanks to increased system transparency, on-site maintenance work to clear faults is optimized.
The infobox design variants can be ordered with 8, 16, 24, or 40 possible messages. The fault reporting system is specifically designed for the requirements for processing and displaying messages. As an option, the data can be forwarded to higher-level control rooms using common communication protocols such as IEC 60870-5-104 and IEC 61850.

Number of messages
The infobox fault reporting device is available with 8, 16, 24, or 40 possible signal inputs. It is possible to increase the number of messages further by simply combining several individual devices together.
Number of messages
Flexible message visualization
The messages are displayed on the device front display in red or green depending on the message type (alarm or status messages) for local identification.
Flexible message visualization
Acknowledgement of further message signals
Simply acknowledge the internally installed horn or the externally connected sirens, lamps, etc.
Acknowledgement of further message signals
Message acknowledgement
Signal your situation-related service work by means of simple message acknowledgment. Here, the message is still displayed in a working mode, but it is indicated that the cause is already being processed.
Message acknowledgement
Deleting messages
Messages relating to successfully processed system states can be deleted easily.

infobox Basic fault signaling system

infobox Basic fault signaling system

Fault reporting technology without communication function (infobox Basic) Monitoring system states with local messages

The infobox Basic processes system signals and visualizes the messages locally on the device front. As an option, the internally installed horn or other locally connected sirens or lighting can be used for signaling, in addition to the LED display.
The fault signaling system can be parameterized quickly and easily via the DIP switches installed on the rear. Marking strips can be created and printed in just a few steps using the infobox ENGINEER software.

infobox COM fault signaling system

infobox COM fault signaling system

Fault reporting technology with communication function (infobox COM) Easy integration into your automation environment

The Industry 4.0-capable infobox COM fault signaling system features the same scope of functions for signaling local messages. Moreover, there is also the option of communicating information to a higher-level control room and to receive protocol-based information from the field level. Here, data is transmitted via standardized communication protocols. With this function, several devices can also be combined to create a larger fault signaling system.
Despite the comprehensive configuration options, the infobox ENGINEER software enables easy and time-saving commissioning.

Test the software without obligation Gain an initial impression

The infobox ENGINEER parameterization software is primarily used to set up the infobox COM. Along with other functions, the message markings are specified and printed in the software. The print templates can of course also be used for the infobox Basic.
Download the portable software free of charge and gain an initial impression – even without a test device.
All the software functions can be used without installing the actual software. For a detailed description, please refer to the digital user manual within the software itself.
