Terminal block portfolio for distribution boards

Terminal blocks for distribution boards We provide a complete portfolio of terminal blocks for the installation of electrical distribution boards.

  • Time-saving, tool-free connection with Push-in terminal blocks
  • Space-saving wiring with screw terminal blocks
  • The same accessories for both terminal block types

The choice is yours. Whatever your preferred method of working, we provide PTI installation terminal blocks with Push-in connection technology as well as UTI installation terminal blocks with screw connection technology for wiring electrical distribution boards.

The PTI and UTI installation terminal blocks are equipped with many functions and even use the same accessories from the CLIPLINE complete terminal block system.

The KNX installation terminal blocks are the perfect choice for the convenient and clear wiring of KNX building automation applications. Implement a space-saving neutral and PE conductor distribution in no time at all with the PTFIX distribution blocks.

Ready-to-connect distribution blocks with Push-in connection

PTFIX distribution blocks

Modern installations are increasingly equipped with residual current devices (RCDs) and residual current operated miniature circuit breakers (RCCBs). The challenge is transferring the neutral conductors downstream of the RCD to the building wiring in as little space as possible. Using the compact PTFIX distribution blocks, the neutral conductor outlets as well as the PE outlets and other potentials can be implemented in a space-saving way thanks to transverse mounting.

And PTFIX offers even more: With the various mounting options available, even difficult installation situations do not present a problem. The eleven color variants ensure clear wiring and clear identification of the potentials. The Push-in direct connection technology allows the tool-free wiring of rigid conductors as well as flexible conductors fitted with ferrules. PTFIX saves time, money, and space.

Push-in or screw connection?

If you want a time-saving solution for wiring rigid wires, then the tool-free Push-in connection of the PTI installation terminal blocks is the right choice for you. You can also connect flexible conductors with ferrules by simply inserting them.

To open the terminal block or to establish the contacting for flexible conductors without ferrules, you can actuate the orange push button with almost any screwdriver or a test probe.

UTI 2,5-PE/L/NT terminal block

If you frequently have to retrofit electrical distribution boards where space is at a premium, the installation terminal blocks with screw connection technology will be a firm favorite. That’s because the UTI installation terminal blocks with an overall width of just 5.2 mm allow you to connect two 1.5 mm² conductors in just one terminal point. The only prerequisites for this are that both conductors are of the same type and cross-section, and that the system or building operator accepts this type of double assignment.

Whatever connection technology you use, you will always create reliable and long-term stable connections.

Color-coded assignment of terminal points to the wire colors

KNX installation terminal blocks

The distribution board quickly becomes overcrowded, especially in the case of star-shaped cabling on the KNX bus system. The color-coded, double-level terminal blocks from the PTTBS 1,5/S family are just 3.5 mm wide and enable clear visual assignment of the terminal points to the wire colors.

In the double function shafts on each level, potentials are connected in any combination, sometimes through bridging, by using standardized bridges. This allows the convenient marshalling of main and reserve wires of the KNX bus system in the distribution board in a width of just 7 mm.
