IO-Link couplers Contactless power and data couplers are the wear-free and maintenance-free solution for supplying your devices with power and IO-Link data. Where conventional connection technology reaches its limits due to space and movement restrictions, vibrations, dust, dirt, rotation, and frequent contacting, contactless transmission enables wear-free communication.

The couplers transmit power (≤18 W) and IO-Link data (≤230.4 kbps) contact-free across an air gap of up to 7 mm. Power is transmitted inductively and also through non-metallic media, such as glass, plastic, and wood, which enables a wide range of applications.

Near-field communication via air gap does not require frequency planning or wireless technology expertise. The IO-Link couplers can be used across manufacturers with all common IO-Link Class A devices. Furthermore, the devices do not need to be configured and are as easy to use as a plug-in connection.
