Team spirit, healthy lifestyle, and donations
100 years of Phoenix Contact – in search of an activity that involves employees as well as partners and customers and connects them together, the number 100 should play a role. An idea turned into a plan, and the plan turned into a campaign: under the motto “SEA Blaze to 100 K”, all Southeast Asian subsidiaries worked together to reach a total of 100,000 kilometers.
Each recorded activity (walking, running, and cycling) was added together. Positive aspect in addition to movement: all participants felt connected as members of a team. This was also supported by wearing Phoenix Contact jerseys, taking team photos, and much more.
In order to further promote cohesion within the team, the office managers of the individual subsidiaries were commissioned to come up with monthly activities in which their respective teams had to participate. This not only promoted a healthier lifestyle, but also provided the team members with more opportunities to team together and to reconcile work and family life.
‘SEA Blaze to 100 K’ promotes a healthy lifestyle for all. As part of the big picture, we want to make our contribution to society and give something back. In addition, we want to promote the compatibility of work and private life and teamwork, and this gives us the opportunity to achieve the best of both worlds!
