To speed up the return, you can help us with the following steps

  • Please enclose the provided return authorization with your return to the address indicated on the return authorization.
  • Ensure the return number is clearly visible on the packaging.

Please note the following requirements so that we can process the return quickly and successfully:

  • The delivery date is no more than 12 months ago
  • The goods correspond to the current production status and revision
  • The packaging is in the same condition upon shipping and undamaged
  • A net value of at least $100.00 is achieved per order item
  • We cannot take back products from order-bound production

Phoenix Contact stands for high-quality and durable products that offer you added value. To meet our quality standards, we use high-quality materials not only to produce products, but also considers the reuse and recycling that we support throughout the recycling process.

Have you received items from us that you no longer require and would like to dispose of professionally? We are happy to support you. Please contact us.

  • The removal of personal data on the items to be disposed of is the responsibility of the user. Please ensure of this before returning to us or our service partners.
  • If batteries are included in the items, please remove them before returning, if they can be removed non-destructively.
  • Shipments that contain a LI/ION battery should be marked as dangerous goods.
  • All items in our portfolio that fall under the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) are marked with the symbol a crossed-out garbage can on wheels. These products must be collected separately at the end of their life and returned to the intended recycling centre.

How to speed up your return

  • Contact us via our website and request an RMA number (return number).

Please note the following requirements for a proper processing of your return:

  • A return must be approved in advance and marked with the note "Return for scrapping”
  • When registering a return, provide specific item numbers and quantity for each item to be returned
  • A copy of the return authorization must be provided with the delivery note with the RMA number (return number) clearly visible and the reason for return
  • The RMA number must be clearly displayed on the outside of the return packaging
  • Returns of items without prior authorization will be returned to the sender
