HC-ALU profile housings for mobile applications

Robust aluminum housings from the HC-ALU series protect electronics from splash water as well as thermal and mechanical influences in harsh field conditions. The profile housings are suitable for temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C and provide IP65 splash water protection in accordance with DIN EN 60529. They also reliably withstand challenging conditions, thanks to the robust, split aluminum profile for lightweight modules.

The basic profile and cover profile of the HC-ALU series are made of an anodized aluminum extruded profile. This provides maximum mechanical strength and excellent shielding properties against disruptive radiation. In addition, the housing is particularly heat-resistant and features splash water protection in IP65. The possible temperature range stretches from -40 to +70°C. The screw channels for the side covers are located in cavities so that the screws do not encroach on the installation space.

Ergonomic design of HC-ALU series electronics enclosures

Profile housings of the HC-ALU series feature an ergonomic design. Their flat surfaces also offer space for printing. The slots in the sides and in the profile cover enable the form-fit integration of membrane keypads, for example. Splash-proof connection technology or membrane keypads are available as an option.
