Using the Insertion Center
The insertion of basic equipment is done via the Insertion Center. This is the central access to all Phoenix Contact mounting devices, articles, and accessories that are available for you.
How to use
| To... | Do the following... |
| Switch between basic equipment | Click the category icon on the right. |
| Search a product | Enter the article number or designation.
- If you can't find the article you're looking for, make sure the correct category is selected. (The available range of products depends on your region and user account.)
- Fuzzy search is supported for both, i.e., you can also enter parts of the number or article name.
- You don't need to enter special characters or spaces in the designation (PT4FE will find the PT 4-FE terminal block).

| Insert selected product | Press <Enter>, double-click or drag and drop the product.
Note
It depends on the type of product whether the mentioned insertion methods are supported. |
- If there is only one mounting rail visible, the product is placed next to the last article on the rail or the selected article on the rail.
- If there are several mounting rails visible, the article is placed on the selected rail.
