Inserting Keepout Areas
A keepout area is a restricted area on a mounting rail where no products can be placed. You can define the width of the keepout area according to your needs.
Keepout areas are inserted via the ribbon HOME > INSERT | Keepout area.
A keepout area can be inserted:- Between existing products on the mounting rail.
- Automatically next to the most right product on the mounting rail if no product is selected.
Insert a keepout area
To insert a keepout area, select the product after which you want to insert the keepout area or select the mounting rail and activate the HOME > INSERT | Keepout area button.
On the right side below the Insertion Center, enter the desired space and click the INSERT button. The inserted keepout area is shown as a yellow rectangle.
