Innovative UV inkjet printer
The clear identification of all devices, components, and circuits in industrial environments presents control cabinet and system manufacturers with major challenges. Standards provide clear regulations that must be implemented by the stakeholders in control cabinet building and systems manufacturing to protect people and machines. The IEC 61436 series of standards specifies, for example, which safety requirements for low-voltage switchgear must be met.
Furthermore, the EN IEC 81346 standard specifies what a uniform reference marking system should look like over the life cycle of an industrial system. The clear identification marking ensures that all objects within the system can be identified at any time. This simplifies the operation and maintenance of a system and speeds up maintenance during servicing. Depending on where the markings are to be used and the associated ambient conditions, there are numerous, application-specific requirements on the identification.
The BLUEMARK E.CARD UV inkjet printer sets new standards in industrial identification. It is characterized by its high efficiency and resistant marking solutions. With its modular ink concept, the UV inkjet printer enables optimum printing results on plastic and metal materials. It is therefore particularly suitable for use in control cabinet and machine building.
Your advantages
- Up to 40% time savings compared to UV inkjet printers with manual material processing
- The printer enables highly efficient marking processes and durable marking solutions with a modular ink concept
- Optimal print results on plastic and metal materials with the innovative combination of thermal inkjet technology and UV LED ink
- Easy operation with intuitive operation via the printer display and network-supported data exchange via the OPC UA interface and marking software
- Low maintenance costs by simply replacing the entire ink system with each cartridge
High efficiency
The UV inkjet printer processes card materials with the help of an automated card transport system. After inserting a stack of material, the cards are automatically fed into the printing process and, after being printed, stacked for removal. Unsorted materials are detected and marked according to the respective print project. The UV inkjet printer is characterized by its compact design and high print volume. Automated material processing enables time savings of up to 40% compared to printers with manual material processing.
High-quality marking
The BLUEMARK E.CARD marks card materials with an innovative combination of thermal inkjet technology (TIJ) and UV LED-curing inks. TIJ technology enables a high print resolution. With the help of automated material recognition, the printer determines an ink composition tailored to the base material and prints the material using specific marking parameters. With the modular ink concept, fine and sharp typefaces are created. Due to the intensive hardening of the ink with UV light, markings are wipe-proof, scratch-proof, and chemical-resistant.
Application-optimized identification
The areas of application for industrial identification range from protected control cabinets through to machines and systems in which markings are exposed to chemical and mechanical influences. With its modular ink concept, the BLUEMARK E.CARD creates optimum printing results on plastic and metal materials. Regardless of the requirements you have on your industrial identification, the BLUEMARK E.CARD combines particularly high efficiency in the processing of UCT materials (polycarbonate) and highly resistant markings with UC materials (polyamide) and metal labels.
Low maintenance
The BLUEMARK E.CARD creates markings with thermal inkjet printing. The ink cartridges consist of the ink system and printhead. As the printhead is regularly replaced along with the cartridge, the printer provides a consistently high print quality and requires little maintenance. When the printer is not being used, the ink cartridges can be stored in the storage compartment. Storing the ink cartridges prolongs the shelf life and avoids additional energy consumption for regular cleaning operations.
Easy operation
Implementing extensive printing projects is quick and easy with the BLUEMARK E.CARD and the MARKING system marking software. You can plan and monitor your print jobs efficiently via the bidirectional OPC UA communication interface. The printer display also provides you with all the necessary information on the device and print status.
