Hardware

There are up to three separate products involved when designing a QUINT POWER system with a QUINT DC UPS backup.

24Vdc QUINT DC UPS
24Vdc QUINT Battery
Note: Internal 1.3AH (amp/hour) battery included in 10A QUINT UPS version.

Figure 1 shows the UPS connected to the output of the power supply and the battery connected to the UPS.

There are two separate products involved when designing a QUINT POWER system with a QUINT BUFFER.

1. 24Vdc QUINT power supply
2. 24Vdc QUINT BUFFER (battery can not be connected)

QUINT UPS and Battery Versions

There are three versions of the QUINT UPS.

1. 24Vdc / 10 amp (includes internal, non-replaceable, 1.3AH battery)
2. 24Vdc / 20 amp (External battery must be added)
3. 24Vdc / 40 amp (External battery must be added)

The QUINT batteries are durable rechargeable lead gel batteries. There are three external QUINT Batteries versions.

1. 3.4AH
2. 7.2AH
3. 12AH
   

Product Selection

Use table, below,1 to help you select the QUINT DC UPS and QUINT battery combination or QUINT BUFFER products. These products must be used in combination with a 24Vdc QUINT power supply.
