Industrial Media Converters

Increase the reliability of your system’s serial network. Industrial media converters provide easy conversion of your fiber-optic and serial-based networks.

Copper to Copper Media Converters

RS232 Converter
Isolate, convert, or amplify your bus protocol with RS232 & RS485 din rail modules. The modules allow for easy expandability for your system's bus protocol. RS485 Repeater modules allow you to extend the range of your RS485 network.

RS232 to TTY converter products allow you to convert and RS232 interface bidirectionally into a 20 mA TTY current loop interface. With the interference-free TTY signal, the data can be transmitted wihout difficulty over a distance of up to 1000 m via a twisted pair or shielded 4-wire cables.

Copper to Fiber Data Converter

Copper to Fiber Converter
Copper to fiber converter products allow you to electrically isolate and convert your RS-232, RS485 and RS422 bus protocols and integrate them into your fiber network. Copper to fiber converter can be used in a variety of physical network architectures.

Copper to fiber converter products work with both multi and single mode glass fibers as well as Hardened-Clad Silica (HCS) and polymer (POS).

Industrial Ethernet Converters/Accessories

Ethernet Media Converter
Ethernet media converter products allow for you to upgrade your RS232 or RS485 to industrial Ethernet or convert your existing Ethernet into your fiber optic network. Ethernet has been a highly accepted in industrial applications. However not all automation devices are network-compatible.

Industrial Bluetooth Converter/Accessories

Bluetooth Access Point
A bluetooth access point allow for you to integrate your Bluetooth enabled devices to easily retrieve or send data into your system's processes. Data retrieved can significantly reduce downtime and allow for preventative maintenace on your system.

If you don't have a third party enabled device, a device connection can still be made available with the Bluetooth adapter or dongle.

The signal from a Bluetooth access point can extend up to 150 meters (492 feet) and is based on the international license-free Bluetooth standard. The wireless standard meets high requirements for interference-free data transmission by utilizing Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology.
