Phoenix Contact displays process industry solutions
MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Phoenix Contact will demonstrate its latest solutions for the oil and gas industry at the 2010 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) May 3-6 at the Reliant Center in Houston.

This year’s booth (#1378 and 1379) features a wellhead automation display, designed in partnership with two Houston-based system integrators. RAN Technologies built a marshalling cabinet featuring Phoenix Contact’s space-saving terminal block solutions. Dynamic Specialties provided expertise on programming and integrating automation components to help end users save time and money.
Other highlights include the new UT-6 TMC M circuit breaker, new push-in terminal blocks, and the upcoming MACX-Ex Isolated Intrinsic Safety Barrier products (Class I, Div. 2 approval pending). The booth will also showcase:
- Automation: scalable control platforms and Ethernet switches
- Power: power supplies, circuit protection and surge protection products
- Wireless: long-range radio modems and gateways
- FOUNDATION fieldbus: modular infrastructure components and connectors
- Terminal blocks: high-current, push-in and modular terminal blocks, along with cabinet add-ons, marking products and software
- Plug connectors: UV- and saltwater resistant connectors for power, data and signals
