Phoenix Contact to host technology seminars for the process industry

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Phoenix Contact will host a series of free technology seminars for the process industry. The half-day seminars will feature presentations on wireless, Foundation Fieldbus, surge protection and intrinsic safety. 

The seminars will be held:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Phoenix Contact Customer Technology Center, 3993 W. Sam Houston Parkway North, Suite 500, Houston
  • Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the Monument Inn Restaurant, 4406 Battleground Road, LaPorte, Texas
  • Thursday, Oct. 29, at the Holiday Inn, 1500 Highway 30, Gonzales, La.

Each session includes three 50-minute presentations on important topics in the process industry. The morning session (8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.) will cover wireless, Foundation Fieldbus and intrinsic safety. The afternoon session (1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.) will include a discussion of transient voltage protection, as well as repeat the earlier sessions on wireless and Foundation Fieldbus.

Participants earn three Professional Development Hour (PDH) credits toward the 15 required annually in Texas and Louisiana for professional engineer license renewal.
