Two-Piece IDC

The QC (Quick Connect) 1.5 is a new standard in I/O and low power (up to 10 Amps) PCB terminations. Wire selection for this new insulation displacement plug is more flexible than other IDC products currently available on the market. The plugs are designed on a 5.0 mm pitch (centerline) spacing and come with or without mounting flanges. The QC 1.5 plugs mate with 5.0 mm headers from Phoenix Contact.

Fast termination of discrete, stranded wires saves installation time. The only tool needed to make a positive gas-tight connection is a common screwdriver. Plugs are clearly identified, which reduces potential mis-wiring.
