VARIOCON Plug Connectors
VARIOCON plastic or metal rectangular housing connectors offer a choice of connection types for industrial applications using the well established, industry standard COMBICON connection technology in the following modes:
- Screw Clamp or Crimp Wire Termination
- Printed Circuit Board through Panel Connections
- Fiber Optic Connections
VARIOCON Product Features
VARIOCON products feature protection type IP65 to IP69K (depending on the application) and have modular contact inserts for power, signal, and/or fiber optic transmission.
Modular Contact Inserts
VARIOCON-Modular offers the possibility of combining power and signal transmission in one plug connector. The contact system is based on the proven COMBICON connection technology with tension sleeve principle and coding possibility. The installation side can be supplied with a screw connection or alternatively with a direct PCB connection.
Fixed Contact Inserts
The crimp contact carriers are available as male or female contact carriers and fulfill the requirements for multi-position plug connections. Turned and rolled crimp contacts from the proven HEAVYCON D-series are available for the 15, 30, 50, and 65-position crimp contact carriers plus two capacitive PE connections each.
