Factory Line WLAN
The FL WLAN Factory Line range of products makes it possible to set up wireless networks in acc. with IEEE standard 802.11 b/g in industrial production halls and warehouses.
The modules are characterized by a rugged metal housing, high vibration and shock resistance, and a wide temperature range.
Possible application areas:
- Mobile operation and monitoring
- Fast communication from controller to controller
- Realtime I/O data traffic with PROFINET IO systems
- Setting up redundant systems
Properties:
- Utmost safety: By supporting the currently highest safety standard IEEE 802.11i
- Setting priorities for network traffic: With user-defined issuing of priorities to allow a maximum throughput for high priority data
- Comprehensive diagnostics: By displaying the receive and noise level and including antenna statistics in order to find the ideal antenna position
- High levels of availability: Since the Access Point monitors connection to the clients and when the connection fails, sends a message to the visualization system
