E-Learning
In our interactive learning modules, we offer you the opportunity to become fully acquainted with various topics in the field of power and signal quality.
The offer ranges from the basics of surge protection right up to modules dealing with the operating modes of devices and components. You can then test the knowledge you have acquired by taking a short test.
Surge protection
We are making this knowledge available to you through the enjoyable and entertaining self-studying of individual learning modules.
- Brief introduction to surge protection
(Duration: approx. 5 minutes)
- Basic information about surge protection (Part 1)
(Duration: approx. 15 minutes)
- Basic information about surge protection (Part 2)
(Duration: approx. 15 minutes)
- Surge protection for the power supply unit
(Duration: approx. 30 minutes)
- Surge protection for MCR technology
(Duration approx. 20 minutes)
- Surge protection for information technology - Data
(Duration approx. 20 minutes)
- Surge protection for information technology - Telecommunications
(Duration approx. 20 minutes)
- Surge protection for transceiver systems
(Duration approx. 20 minutes)

You can test the knowledge you have acquired by taking these short tests:
- Assessment: basic information about surge protection

Uninterruptible power supply units
- Uninterruptible power supply units
(Duration: approx. 30 minutes)
- Assessment: uninterruptible power supply units

Monitoring
The module entitled "Monitoring with residual current monitoring" shows how residual currents may occur, explains the operating principle of RCM devices, and provides a selection guide for choosing the right device types.
The "Monitoring with the arrester test system" learning module deals with the CHECKMASTER. You will learn how an arrester test is carried out, which protective devices can be tested with which test sockets, and how data transmission works.
In the "LM-S lightning monitoring system" module, you will learn about the areas of application of lightning current monitoring and discover the resulting advantages. You will find out more about the method of operation and the Faraday effect, and see how you can integrate the LM-S into your network.
- Monitoring with residual current monitoring
(Duration: approximately 10 minutes)
- Monitoring with the arrester test system
(Duration: approximately 10 minutes)
- LM-S lightning monitoring system
(Duration: approximately 20 minutes)

EMC solutions
In this module, you will become acquainted with the operating principle and the different types of interference filters. You will also see which components are typically used and how attenuation characteristic curves are read.
- Filter technology
(Duration: approx. 15 minutes)
