The set consists of a collection of tailored protective devices. They are based on the new type 1 lightning arrester, which also meets the requirements of a type 2 surge arrester.
Three device protection plugs protect the socket power connection of termination devices. Two of these plugs have an additional signal cable connection. This can be used to protect TV/SAT and telecommunications termination devices.
