INTERFACE Analog - Converters for MCR technology
The transmission of analog signals in industrial environments is very susceptible to interference. The MCR modular converters for measuring and control technology avoid the distortion of analog signals caused by external interference. With accurate conversion, electrical isolation or adaptation of analog signals, they provide safe and increased transmission quality, and thus quality of control circuits.
This is reflected in five pillars sorted on the basis of functionalities:
- Insulation: The MCR signal isolators are used to electrically isolate, amplify, filter and adapt analog signals.
- Temperature: The MCR temperature transducers are available for resistance thermometers (e.g. PT100, Ni 1000, ...) and thermocouples (e.g. type J, K ...).
- Power: The MCR current and voltage transducers convert currents and voltages into standard analog signals.
- Conversion: The MCR transducers convert different signal values into analog signals suitable for the control system. Analog signals are just as easy to adapt to the control level as are frequencies, rotational speeds and potentiometer positions.
- Control: In measurement and control technology, the MCR monitoring modules are used alongside conventional control systems such as PLCs and PCs. They measure analog signals and control and monitor a function in relation to the signal value.

The slim modules with 3-way isolation execute their tasks with absolute precision - and that too with a negligible current consumption. This means perfect transmission quality and a long service life.
The hardware is also impressive: 6 mm overall width saves space and the low height allows installation in small decentralized control cabinets. The rail power distributors simplify the installation, and eight screw or spring-cage connections ensure clear wiring and flexibility. Time and money-saving wiring is also possible with the new system cabling.

The measuring transducers measure up to 4-channel standard signals "loop-powered" without auxiliary power. High load? No problem thanks to low voltage dissipation! The devices are also available as a version with safe isolation (4 KV test voltage) in acc. with EN 61010. Interference-free and accurate signal processing is thus guaranteed.
