The CONTACTRON motor manager measures the most important electrical value in your system, the real power of the motor. It constantly monitors this value and immediately identifies critical overload and underload statuses of the motor and the system mechanics.

How does the CONTACTRON motor manager protect the system?
Active power curve
A cos phi-relay only records underload statuses and a motor protection relay only records overload statuses.
The motor manager detects all critical load statuses by measuring the effective power of the motor. If required, it switches off the drive to protect the motor and your valuable system.
