Industrial Wireless - With safety across all channels

Installing cables in extensive systems or exchanging wear-afflicted drag chains and sliprings are certainly not among the "dream jobs" of an electrician. Not to mention the high installation, assembly and maintenance costs. Modern wireless transmission systems reduce the maintenance and downtimes, increase the system availability and allow for increased productivity. Mobile programmer access points are also easily and quickly possible with Bluetooth components.

With "Industrial Wireless", Phoenix Contact offers transmission systems for various applications in mechanical and plant engineering, as well as process control engineering. The basic requirement for industrially viable "safety across all channels" is that these systems are able to handle the highest demands with regard to signal transmission reliability.

Bluetooth

The compact Factory Line Bluetooth access points and client adapter FL BLUETOOTH AP allow the simple and reliable implementation of wireless Ethernet connections in an industrial environment. Both IP-based as well as industrial Ethernet protocols like PROFINET are transmitted transparently. Also, many Bluetooth connections can be operated parallel to a WLAN system without any malfunctions.

Trusted Wireless

The unidirectional and bidirectional Trusted Wireless system has now been made ex-compliant. Suitable for applications in the Ex area of Zone 2, transceivers can be used to transmit digital or analog 4 - 20 mA signals. Extension modules can be mounted in a row quickly and simply via the integrated bus foot.

WLAN

These robust WLAN access points and clients are specially developed for use in industrial applications. The WLAN modules allow full coverage high-speed wireless access in accordance with IEEE 802.11. Web-based management, prioritization of the data traffic and diagnostic functions distinguish the devices as especially user-friendly.
