The xplore New Automation Award 2012 promotes creative automation solutions
At the end of March, the winners of the xplore New Automation Award 2012 were revealed. Students and technical apprentices had been submitting their exciting and creative automation projects to Phoenix Contact since the competition opened in January 2011.
29 teams from a total of 13 different countries were invited to Bad Pyrmont at the end of March for the final round. This included student groups from South Africa, China, India, and the USA.

Winning teams honored at the Hanover Fair
The international educational competition, which was held for the fifth time, is financed in full by Phoenix Contact.
The five winning teams are exhibiting their projects for a week at this year's Hanover Fair. Dr. Philipp Rösler, German Federal Minister of Economics and Technology, will also be there to commend the winners in person.
