Universal analog isolating transducer with a passive signal output

The new 12.5 mm wide MACX-MCR-UI-UI-UP analog isolating transducer covers more than 1600 signal combinations in the field of MCR technology. The user can set these directly using DIP switches.

On the input side, the user can choose from unipolar and bipolar signals from   +/- 50 mV to +/-100 V,  +/- 1 mA to +/-100 mA as well as the typical Life-Zero signals of 1…5 V, 2…10 V and 4…20 mA.

On the output side, the user can select uni- and bipolar voltage signals in the range of +/-20 mA and
+/-10 V in addition to the Life-Zero signals. These input and output signal ranges   can be combined with each other as desired.

For the unipolar output signals, you can optionally select inverse output characteristic curves (e.g. conversion of 0…50 mV to 20…0 mA). Besides the active current or voltage output, there is a passive current output that can also be used to control active PLC cards.

The high limit frequency of 10 kHz allows use in time-critical control and regulation applications. Safe isolation as per EN 61010 ensures protection against exposed dangerous voltages.

An SIL2 certification allows use in safety-related signal chains. Thanks to the long range supply, the isolator can be used worldwide in all power supply networks. The MACX MCR-UI-UI-UP universal isolator is alternatively available with plug-in spring-cage terminal blocks.
