Uninterruptible power supply for distributed measuring and control applications
There is an optimal solution for the reliable 24 V supply of distributed stations.Especially compact and easy-to-use, the MINI DC UPS combines the power supply unit and the uninterruptible power supply in the same housing to save space.
The output voltage is now directly dependent on the battery voltage, which is 27.9 V to 19.2 V DC.The solution is applied where low currents have to be buffered. The module with the 0.8 Ah rechargeable battery then supplies 2 A for 5 min or 0.5 A for 45 min. With the 1.3 Ah rechargeable battery, there are 2 A available for 30 min or 0.5 A for 105 min.

Extensive signaling
The extensive signaling with the three control lamps: "Power In OK", "Battery Mode/Charge" and "Alarm", as well as the active relay outputs: "Battery Mode", "Battery Charge" and "Alarm" visualize the system statuses and report these to the control. This way, high system availability is ensured. The charging progress of the rechargeable battery module, the readiness for operation and buffer mode are displayed, for example.
The module outputs an alarm for a battery voltage of 20.4 V before the rechargeable battery module can no longer ensure the supply. If the output voltage drops to 19.2 V due to a deeply discharged rechargeable battery module, the MINI DC UPS switches off permanently to protect the rechargeable battery module from damage. The device switches on automatically again after the power supply returns.

The service life of the rechargeable battery module can be increased by means of integrated battery management. Temperature-compensated charging protects the rechargeable battery module at high ambient temperatures.Pluggable connections, integrated timeouts and the pre-assembled connecting cable of the rechargeable battery module minimize the installation time.
