New IP65 wireless module makes the control cabinet redundant
The new unidirectional IP65 outdoor wireless module "EUROPIPE" from the RAD-Line IO range makes it possible to transfer two digital and one analog standard signal (4…20 mA) without a license over distances of up to three kilometers.
Installation and startup are simple: The devices have a simple connection method with M12 connectors and require neither programming nor parameterization.
The modules are available with various voltage supply units. The 230 V AC variant makes an additional power supply unit superfluous. In 24 V DC variants, various current-saving modes enable supply via batteries or solar systems which are a part of the range of accessories.
With the unidirectional wireless system, point-to-point connections and even multiple receiver systems can be implemented to multiply and split signals. With the certification in accordance with the 94/9/EC (ATEX) and IECEx guidelines, the wireless systems can be internationally used in the Ex-range of zone 2.
