New output voltages for TRIO POWER power supply units

TRIO POWER power supply units stand for basic functionality at the highest level. The product range includes DIN rail power supplies with 1 and 3-phase variants up to 1 kW, which have been optimized for use in machinery.

The new 120-Watt device with a 24 V DC output voltage (output current 5 A) can be operated flexibly with a 2 and 3-phase mains connection. The power supply units open up new applications with 12 VDC or 48 VDC output voltage and 5 A or 10 A output current.

The dielectric strength up to 300 V AC and the Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) of 500,000 h ensure high operational reliability, which is reached by using high-quality components. All power supply units can be used worldwide, based on the wide-range input of 85 to 264 V AC or 3x 320 to 575 V AC as well as the UL approvals.

The output voltages of 12, 24 and 48 V DC and output currents of 2.5, 5, 10, 20 and 40 A are available at temperatures up to 55°C without limitations thanks to derating. This way, loads are reliably supplied even at high ambient temperatures in the control cabinet.

To increase the power and redundancy, several devices can also be operated in parallel with no problems. Grounding on the secondary side of the control voltage is especially convenient with the third negative terminal. Thanks to the easy-to-adjust output voltage, voltage drops on longer lines can be compensated. Furthermore, this functionality makes it possible to use the power supply units for charging rechargeable batteries.

The LED signaling provides clear and reliable information about all operating states of the power supply units. This on-site function monitoring simplifies system startup and maintenance.
