INTERFACE safety relays - Plug & Play in safety engineering

The PSR is a comprehensive range of safety switchgear and provides the right approval for every field of application. In addition to the basic approvals for mechanical and plant engineering, the modules are now also approved for process engineering, furnaces and shipbuilding.

Safety switchgear is modular and can be expanded via the T-BUS.

The Phoenix PSR safety relays offer the highest standard for monitoring safety relevant signals. All connections are pluggable, coded, and designed as both screw or twin spring-cage connection. They guarantee the user maximum ease of wiring and safety in the event of servicing. With their compact and space-saving design, the PSR modules offer increased isolation between input/output and enabling/signaling current circuits. The safety circuit is controlled via one or two channels with or without cross-circuiting detection.

Save space in the control cabinet, minimize wiring costs and expand contacts while maintaining a high degree of safety - That's the modular system of the Phoenix PSR safety relay. The system comprises a universal master, who takes on the task of monitoring the safe signals. If it is necessary to expand, four drop-out delay or undelayed safe contacts per module can be connected via the DIN rail T-Bus as required.

The supply voltage, a switched safe potential and the feedback circuit are carried along the T-Bus. A function, such as emergency stop. safety door or light grid can thus switch up to 10 expansion modules without error-prone cross wiring. The pluggable connecting terminal blocks are available as usual as screw or spring-cage versions. The new spring-cage connection terminal blocks are opened at the front using a screwdriver, which opens two terminal points.

One module for all areas of application - PSR-ESP4 now with GL classification
