The pluggable feature of the PLUGTRAB PT product family is one of the biggest advantages for you. Thanks to this feature, replacing faulty plugs when servicing is necessary is inexpensive. Even the servicing is considerably simplified. For example, isolation measurements are possible without disconnection or signal influences. Naturally all plugs can be tested with the CHECKMASTER. The plug guide on the base elements ensures proper insertion and contacting and the plug coding offer maximum installation safety.

Space-saving


PLUGTRAB PT is the space saving solution for the control cabinet. With a width of only 17.5 mm (1 div.), you can protect up to four binary signals, two double wires or a four-conductor measurement from surge voltages. This results in only 3.5 mm width per channel. This means that not only the assembly in the control cabinet remains easy, but even the installation costs are minimized.

Self-coding


To offer you maximum installation safety, all base elements and plugs are self-coding. This means that when plugged in the first time, the base element is marked with the appropriate plug thanks to the integrated keying pin. Wrong installations, e.g. in modules of varying voltage levels, are thus ruled out. The plug guide in the base element makes incorrect plugging in impossible.

Innovative shielding concepts

With PLUGTRAB PT, you can choose between direct and indirect ground connection of the shield potential. The different base elements make this possible. In the PT...+F-BE types, the shielding potential is indirectly connected to ground through a gas discharge arrester. The shield fast connection is available as an accessory. With this, the shielding can be connected to the appropriate screw terminal block quickly and easily.


The "Pit Stop" for pluggable arresters


With the CHECKMASTER, the fully automatic testing device for almost all pluggable arresters from Phoenix Contact, you can test and document comfortably. The tests demanded by the VDE for surge protection devices can thus be documented easily and permanently. The test results can also be printed on a printer via the serial interface or transferred to a PC for further use.
