TERMITRAB - multi-stage modular terminal block with surge protection and knife disconnection
TERMITRAB, the product range of narrow modular blocks with integrated surge protection was added. With the TT2...--M- terminal blocks, the reliable multi-stage terminal blocks with integrated surge protection are now also available in screw connection technology with disconnect knives.
It is thus possible to build up a connection level in the control cabinet which is both space-saving and resistant to surge voltages.

Easy testing and enabling
Thanks to the integrated disconnect knives, measurements in the signal circuit are no problem at all. The connected signal circuit is enabled by simply lifting the disconnect knives. The resulting work can be carried out quickly and safely.

The two-stage protective circuits consist of quick-responding and low limiting suppressor diodes and gas-filled surge arresters for a high surge arresting capacity. The protection stages are separated from one another by ohmic resistors. This ensures optimal distribution of power in the protective circuit when surge voltages have to be limited and surge currents discharged.
An electric surge voltage resistant connection is made automatically between the ground reference point of the protective circuit and the DIN rail when the protective terminal block is snapped on. To provide ground connection for a complete row of terminal blocks, only the DIN rail needs be grounded. The screw connection technology is tried and tested worldwide and provides low surge resistances and high power at the conductor due to its two-dimensional contacting.

Three versions are available
- TT-2-PE-M-24DC for the protection of a floating double conductor, e.g. 0(4)-20 mA or 10 V voltage signals
- TT-2-PE/S1-M-24DC has been particularly developed for the protection of a floating signal circuit where the decoupling resistors could lead to problems, e.g. during two-wire temperature measurements.
- TT-2/2-M-24DC protects two signal conductors with a common reference potential, e.g. binary signals from position encoders.
