Surge protection for fast data transmission
Often it is not possible to protect lines from surge voltages during data transmission without reducing the transmission speed. This is due, in part, to the attenuation properties of the components used and the protective circuits. To avoid a decrease of the transmission speed, a decision is often made to not use a surge protection.
But data lines, too, can be a gateway for harmful and destructive surge voltages in computer and IT systems, as they are like the nerve tracts of a company.
Protect your data and telecommunications lines from surge voltages. Only comprehensive protection can safeguard you from "nasty" surprises.
