COMBICON spring-cage connection system
Spring-cage for all pitches
Offspring for the proven COMBICON spiral spring terminal blocks. The new addition to the family are the plugs with a mini pitch of 3.5 mm, and pitches of 7.5 and 7.62 mm. All the plugs have an integrated test connection and options for tailor-made coding and labeling.

Maximum connection space and minimum space requirements
The slim FMC 1,5 plug components allow the users to further miniaturize their modules, while at the same time increasing the packing density on the PCB. The compact spring-cage plug with a pitch of 3.5 mm is a mere 7.5 mm tall. Despite this low constructional height, MINI COMBICON has the usual connection space for conductor cross sections of 1.5 mm². The outstanding feature of the double-level header is the space requirement on the PCB reduced to a minimum. It goes without saying that the header is designed as a reflow-capable component for the SMT process. Plug and header are available with 2 to 20 positions. There is also a version with lateral self-locking flanges for engaging the plug to the header.

DEVICENET on the outside – SPRING-CAGE on the inside
For looping through bus signals, there is the TWIN spring-cage TFKC 2,5 connector for the Devicenet. This front 2.5 mm² double connection with a pitch of 5.08 mm is freely accessible and has a test connection that can be firmly plugged in. For other bus systems or I/O modules, this connector can also be used with 2 to 10 positions. A raised labeling field takes the self-adhesive labeling strips. There are even labeling strips to conform with the requirements for Devicenet marking. When the bus connector is unplugged, the functions of the connected module are not affected.
