Spring-cage PCB terminal block in the IC format
Phoenix Contact first presented a mini PCB terminal block for automated soldering processes in the Hanover Trade Fair in 2009. It is hardly larger than an IC and has a height of just 5.0 mm with a push-in spring-cage connection with a release option.
The PCB terminal block is available with a pitch of 2.5 mm and attains great current carrying capacity with 6 A. The terminal block in a THR and SMD version for horizontal and vertical conductor connection is now available.
Thanks to its SMT solderability and the small size, this terminal block is all the more interesting for the LED light industry and for everyone requiring a convenient connection method in limited space.
