ME and ME MAX component housings allow combined use of terminal blocks with 3.5 and 5.0 mm pitch
The DIN-rail mountable control cabinets ME and ME MAX can now be equipped with connectors with 3.5 mm pitch as well as those with 5.0 mm pitch. Thus in a device with a housing width of 22.5 mm, it is possible to connect 15 data and four power connections of 8 or 12 amperes.
The supply terminals with a 5 mm pitch with a voltage of up to 250 V can be positioned in the upper connection level. The 'lower level' has adequate space for five connections with 3.5 mm pitch.
Ten more data connections with 3.5 mm pitch can be connected on the opposite side. Compared to the headers with pitch 5, pitch 3.5 allows connection of one more position per terminal point.
3, 4 and 5-pos. designs with pitches 3.5 and 2, 3 and 4-pos. designs with pitch 5. In spite of the compact dimensions, the terminals provide sufficient room to mount conductors with cross circuits 1.5 mm² for data lines and 2.5 mm² for power connections.
