Square plug connector with FO connection
The new contact inserts for the fiber optic connection from PHOENIX CONTACT can be combined with all the modular inserts from the Variocon product family. It is thus possible to transmit current and light in one plug connector.
The plug connector has an FSMA screw connection, a patented clamping technology, and can be assembled in two minutes. The contact inserts are constructed passively as a panel feed-through. With the corresponding transmit and receive parts for the mounting side, the contact insert is ideal for direct PCB connection.
The FO inserts can be mounted in the three series three series in metal, plastic and with EMC protection, and in four housing sizes. The plug connectors can be used wherever light has to be guided through a panel and be pluggable or where fiber optics are connected to a field device.
