High-position revolution - M23 to M12
A bridge between two worlds is built using the shielded adapter cables for M23 to M12 with 12 and 17 positions.
It is now possible to switch from the classic, large M23 connectors to the new, considerably more compact M12 connectors in the area of drives and encoders without having to completely replace the existing M23 infrastructure. This saves both time and money.

The considerably smaller M12 connectors, for instance, offer handling benefits when cables are installed in confined wiring spaces. Moreover, the M12 connection method needs 60% less space in the case of design-in in devices. This can help in reducing housing dimensions, if required.
The adapters are available as M23 connectors on the M12 socket and the other way round as M12 connectors on the M23 socket with cable lengths of 0.5 m, 1 m, 2 m and 5 m in each case.
