D series terminal adapters with new properties
Terminal adapters integrate connector contact inserts and modular terminal blocks to form a compact connection element.
The jumpering/connection level thus "wanders" from the DIN rail to the control cabinet wall. This saves space in the control cabinet.
The new HEAVYCON terminal adapters of the D series have a PE connection based on the tension sleeve technology. This technology provides considerably greater conductor pull-out forces than a connection with classic header contact clamping points and is user-friendlier.
The D series terminal adapters are available with 40 and 64 positions, in left and right control cabinet wall versions as well as with sockets and pins.
For connections with less number of contacts, terminal adapters of the B series are available that have the advantages of the PE Tension sleeve connection.
