Simply connecting the sensor/actuator boxes to the control system
If sensor/actuator signals are to be collected near decentral units and forwarded to the control system, the new sensor/actuator boxes with rear flat-ribbon cable connection provide advantages. They make it possible to establish a direct connection to all commonly used control systems in the market quickly and easily.
The PLC connection is especially easy due to the use of standardized, pre-assembled conductors in combination with PLC front adapters from the VARIOFACE system cabling range. Error sources and wiring costs are minimized.
For power supply, a MINI COMBICON connector is additionally provided at the rear side of the box. The customary features of the SPEEDCON sensor/actuator box are available outside the control cabinet. The box can be connected with sensors or actuators using standardized M12 connectors and sensor/actuator cables.
