Quick connection for Industrial Ethernet and PROFINET
In addition to the 4-pos. M12 connectors for Industrial Ethernet and Profinet, now an 8-pos. variant for Gigabit Ethernet with an insulation displacement connection is also available.
No special tools are necessary for assembling the 4 and 8-pos. connectors. The wires are easily inserted into the chambers and pressed into the blades with the screw caps. The connection block can accommodate solid and stranded wires from AWG 26...22. This way, quick and flexible cabling is guaranteed for Ethernet and Profinet in the industrial environment.
The shielded connectors satisfy CAT5 in acc. with IEC 11801:2002 and fulfill the high protective class IP67 when plugged.
