WLAN Access Point: Now even easier to configure

With the new firmware 3.0, the product range of the FL WLAN 24 AP 802-11 now also supports IEEE 802.11 a/h. Thus, the access points can be used without limitation for the 5 GHz WLAN frequency bandwidth.

The user has 19 usable WLAN channels available in the 5 GHz bandwidth. Thanks to the higher permissible transmission capacity (+30 dBm) and the smaller Fresnel zone, WLAN is a good solution, especially for long-range radio paths in the 5 GHz range.

Carry out configuration, quickly and easily

With the new quick set-up wizard, even WLAN laymen can quickly and easily configure a WLAN network now. Even older WLAN access points and clients can be updated with the new firmware. Here it must be observed, however, that the 2.4 GHz antennas need to be exchanged for special antennas for the 5 GHz frequency bandwidth.

Panel PCs in the VMT housing with WLAN interface - Wireless operation and monitoring in mechanical and plant engineering

Panel PCs in the VMT housing with WLAN interface from Phoenix Contact
The right industrial PC for every application: If there are unfavorable conditions in the machine/plant, such as dust, high humidity, temperature fluctuations or vibrations, it is good to use light and thin panel PCs in VMT housings. This fanless industrial PC, equipped with an industrial, resistive touch screen, makes the control cabinet unnecessary with its completely closed IP65 magnesium die-cast housing.

With all relevant interfaces on board, different processor variants, operating systems and monitor sizes can be freely configured using the Phoenix Contact online catalog. Reliable and wireless, the VMT can also be connected to the existing infrastructure via the optional WLAN interface. This central operator panel allows you to easily control and monitor your machine or plant.
