  • Intelligent multicast filtering through IGMP snooping
  • Operation without routers through integrated querier function
    • In this manner, multicast groups can be filtered in the switch dynamically and automatically
    • As a result, multicast data currents can neither spread unchecked in the network nor can they affect the performance of the network
  • Port-related monitoring and diagnostic functions
    • Quick and easy acquisition of the data packet distribution and the port load
    • Visualization using the integrated web server
    • Port mirroring for writing if service becomes necessary
    • Configurable floating alarm contact

The compact switches are available as a pure Twisted pair version with eight ports in 10/100 Mbps or with four Twisted pair and two glass fiber interfaces 100BASE-FX in either multimode or single mode design.

The lean managed switches support non-proprietary redundant network structures through RSTP as well as a full network through SNMP.
