Environmental Compliance Standard

The Phoenix Contact Environmental Compliance Standard contains bans of substances that generally apply to articles and specifically to articles of the electric and electronic industry.

It considers the applicable European legal requirements, their national implementation in Germany and Switzerland.

Further national stricter regulations of the EU member states or substance bans outside of Europe are not included.

The binding force of the Phoenix Contact Environment Compliance Standards was extended as of 1 January 2013.
