INTERBUS Safety in all application phases

Project planning/configuration

Specific know-how is required to implement the safe applications. It is not only a matter of observing all the relevant standards, but also of taking into account the developments in the field of safety engineering.
Phoenix Contact is dedicated to providing you with the necessary support in planning and implementing the technically and economically most viable solution with flexible adaptation to new application conditions and technologies. In this way, investments are protected on a long-term basis.
And it goes without saying, that we are there to help you when it comes to integrating INTERBUS Safety in existing machines and systems.

Programming

By separating the standard control program from the safe application, the safety technology can be programmed more easily. On request, Phoenix Contact can produce safe functional units and have them accepted. The functional units can be certified as modules, simplifying programming even more in future.

Startup

The design and handling of safe hardware and software products from Phoenix Contact conform to standard components. Comprehensive information on diagnostics help you to put the products into operation without delay. Of course, our experts can help you during the implementation phase.

Training

Phoenix Contact offers not only individual INTERBUS Safety training courses, but also user-oriented seminars on the basics of safety engineering. This ensures that the operating and maintenance personnel are fully trained in how to handle the safe application correctly. This applies both to the technology and to daily work with the system.

Operation

If problems arise during operation of the system, our 24-hour hotline is available to help eliminate the fault. If the fault cannot be eliminated, we will deliver a replacement as soon as possible or organize a technician to service the device on site. Preventive maintenance concepts and system upgrades also ensure high availability of the system.
