High-level language programmable solutions

High-level language control systems with integrated operator interface (CP HLC)

A high-level language application is the perfect solution to capture application while being able to adapt in a versatile manner to the given conditions.

Advantages of high-level language programming

  • Complete control over the programming solution at any time and almost infinite flexibility thanks to the Microsoft.NET development environment
  • No additional license costs
  • SQL database connection, web server, TCP/IP stack integrated into the operating system
  • Additional exemplary source codes freely available on the Internet
  • Compatible solutions under Windows CE and Windows XP

The addition of the CP HLC operating stations expand Phoenix Contact's portfolio to include high-level language programmable control systems with various performance classes. Each HLC control system has a touch display in order to integrate machine operability.

The HFI class library provides easy access to all I/O data in all devices that can be connected via Ethernet TCP/IP or INTERBUS.

High-level language control systems on the PC platform

A WindowsXP-based PC application can read and control field data using the object-oriented and .NET-capable user interface HFI. In this case, access to I/O signals and the diagnostic information is encapsulated in a user-friendly manner using object-oriented class libraries.

At the signal level, the HFI interface supports PCI and PCI-104 cards with direct INTERBUS master as well as modular Inline and Fieldline I/O system for flexible expansion.

All data accesses are set up via registered variables and diagnostic messages from the classes are automatically processed. In addition, project information from the INTERBUS configurator CMD can be adopted directly. Configuration and I/O access were never so easy!
