Proxies + Gateways

Proxies integrate INTERBUS devices and systems in the seamless PROFINET network. The proxies allow drives, operating and visualization equipment, sensors and actuators to be integrated in Ethernet/PROFINET. They are thus important elements for migration and retrofitting.

With the Factory Line I/O server, the industrial INTERBUS standard is also used for simply and flexibly coupling I/Os and field devices to the Ethernet network. The I/O devices are then directly detected and controlled by control systems and PCs with standard Ethernet TCP/IP access. The high level of efficiency provided by INTERBUS for the transmission of small data packets improves the time response and reduces the total response time.
INTERBUS devices of the 4th generation can be coupled to the I/O server.
