The PROFINET system - Simple, flexible and efficient
PROFINET is the Ethernet standard for automation technology from Phoenix Contact. Because PROFINET meets the demands of mechanical and plant engineers for a scalable, universal and interoperable automation solution. The heart of our PROFINET system is the PC WORX automation software. It supports the user in configuring the PROFINET network, as well as with programming, startup and diagnosis of all the components. And the handling is still as simple as the user is used to from the INTERBUS systems that can be set up and operated in combination with PROFINET.
PC WORX
The control technology used in PROFINET from Phoenix Contact is an integral part of our open, flexible and scalable communication platform AUTOMATIONWORX.
This means that our automation software PC WORX can be used to configure PROFINET and INTERBUS networks and to assist in programming, system startup, and diagnostics for Phoenix Contact automation components.
