Managed Switches

Managed switches give you more control over your network. By assigning an IP address to your managed switch, you can remotely monitor and administer both your network and the functions of the switch.

Phoenix Contact managed switches support SNMP for compatibility with IT networks and also feature easy web-based management via a simple web browser. To build robust redundant and self-healing network connections between corporate networks and the factory floor, all Phoenix Contact managed switches support Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) and IGMP Snooping & Query (important for Ethernet/IP applications). The MMS and MCS also feature support for additional managed functions such as Fast Ring high-speed redundancy, VLAN, Port Security, etc.

All switches carry industrial ratings for noise immunity, shock, vibration and temperature in a wide range of form factors with multiple options for copper and fiber connectivity.
